Project RUNway

I've got multiple excuses for not working out in the past week. Tonight, I found something on the TV in the "gym" here that kept me working out for an hour. Okay, so an hour? Really? That's not that big of a feat. It really isn't. Except that I get bored on the 3 machines they have and was sick all weekend. There I go with the excuses. Anyway, I'm glad that I was able to find something entertaining enough to make me sweat for a whole 60 minutes. Maybe I do need to join a gym with a TV on every machine?

If you enjoy reading fantasy, as your profile says, may I suggest a title to try? "Outcasts Of Skagaray" is a fantasy adventure which you can preview by going to www.threeswans.com.au and reading the sample chapters. My blog, if you feel like visiting, is http://threeswans.blogspot.com I would be thrilled if you read the book and enjoyed it. Best wishes, whatever happens.

No joining a gym until you buy a couch. Case closed.

Andrew,
Thanks for the suggestion; I'll try to check it out.

TK,
If I don't join a gym soon I'll continue to be unmotivated to work out, if I don't work out I'll get chubby and depressed, if I get chubby and depressed there won't be any reason to get out of bed in the morning and if there isn't any reason to get out of bed in the morning I won't enjoy a couch.

Buut, then again, maybe I'd want to be a couch potato if I were depressed? But, that would mean I'd have to have a big TV to watch. And then, if and when I get a big TV I'll be too distracted to go to the gym. I can't win.

Whew. Ranting is hard work!

Are you callin' me fat? Sheesh, I think I'll go watch my giant TV with all of my TV friends on it now.

Of course not! I've been fixating on one thing at a time recently (Grey's, reading, etc.). I know if I got a tv I would sit there from 5 to 10 every night. I get easily distracted/side tracked.

That's why I just bought a stationary bike for my apartment. Now I can pedal while I watch!!!! Two great tastes that taste great together.
