Rehab Orientation: The Real Tour

Today, the new OT and I got a Real Tour of each floor. We walked each floor as our guide told us the usual diagnoses and pointed out where to find x, y, and z. This was all extremely helpful!

About 10 of us went to lunch...Mexican. I am definitely getting my fill of chips and salsa this week! It was nice to get out and not be talked at but instead talk with people. Of course, this made it hard to actually get back to work, especially since we had more paper work to do after lunch.

So. I'm on the floor with a scary Doc. One that will yell if I don't cross a "t" or dot an "i". . . Yiiikes! That's all I'm going to say about that because I don't want to work myself up into a frenzy. Be prepared to hear me complain about walking on egg shells and bending over backwards to please. Maybe I'll surprise all of us and stand up for myself, you never know!

You will politely and respectfully stand up for you and your profession. You will. You won't have to bend over backwards or walk on egg shells because you know how to do your job and do it well. Case closed.
