A Girl Named Leney

I have been meaning to draw your attention to A Girl Named Leney for a while now. She's having a give away for a $50 Hair Cuttery gift card on her blog today, so why not check it out!

A Girl Named Leney is a very talented and creative young woman. Both her sense of fashion and her drive to create inspire me. Leney has been knitting for well over a decade, probably closer to a decade and a half. I bet she started shortly after walking.

I have a couple of lovely pieces Miss Leney has made me. A cowl and a headwarmer.  I saw a headwarmer in a shop in Colorado that I really liked, but didn't want to pay the money for something I had a hunch Leney could make better.  I sent Leney a picture and this is what she came up with.  I absolutely love it!  Not only is it warm and cute, but it's also trimmed in my favorite color. I will keep looking for pictures of me wearing these pieces, but in the mean time here are some pics sans me.

In the meantime, check out her etsy shop! She offers most of her items in a variety of colors.  If hand knit pieces aren't your thing (though I don't know why they wouldn't be) she also has a variety of jewelry and art as well.
