"And so we talked all night about the rest of our lives

Where we're gonna be when we turn 25"

Oh. Wait. I'm already 25. Perhaps this is slightly more accurate:

"Four years of high school, four years of college, four years of med school. By the time we graduate we're in our late twenties and we've never done anything except go to school and think about science.
-Dr. Callie O'Malley
Okay, so It's only 3 years of grad school, but I love that quote. And fine, so I'm obviously not a medical doctor. The quote rings pretty true otherwise. Plus, that's the only show I actually watch on tv. . . McDreamy. . . le sigh. I'm still waiting for him to get back together with Meredith! Anyway, I digress.

So, tomorrow is the big day, people. I get the ol' doctorate. It's been a long time in coming. The whole thing has been beyond anti-climatic so far. Regardless, I'm ecstatic to finally be finishing up this part of my life. It's quiet refreshing. I'm looking forward to all the pomp and circumstance and what not. I think it's well deserved and really not quiet as lame as everyone makes out. This is a big deal people! I'll be one step closer to making my own money and living on my own.

Plus, I will no longer be anyone's student. Regardless of what TK/the self proclaimed crazy cat lady says, I'm a student no longer, missy! :)

The above picture is basically what I will look like tomorrow: you know, besides being that pasty, white. Plus, we're actually teal and not blue, but I couldn't seem to find a picture of the teal gowns.
